Play-Based
Learning

Our play-based learning philosophy fosters curiosity through active exploration, hands-on discovery, and meaningful play. We believe children learn best when they're engaged in experiences that reflect their own interests. By encouraging exploration and experimentation, we help children build critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and social-emotional skills in a natural, joyful way.

By integrating learning into play, our teacher can create developmentally appropriate environments where children thrive academically and socially. Play-based learning lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning by making education enjoyable, relevant, and child-centered.

Purposeful Play
in Early Childhood Education

At Angel Face Preschool, we believe that play is a vital part of learning—and that not all play is the same. In early childhood education, structured play is carefully designed by teachers with specific learning goals in mind. This type of play helps build foundational skills such as turn-taking, following directions, problem-solving, and early academic concepts.

Equally important is unstructured play, where children take the lead. During this time, they explore, create, and use their imaginations to solve problems and navigate social interactions. Unstructured play encourages independence, critical thinking, and creativity.

At our school, we intentionally offer a balance of both structured and unstructured play experiences. While it may look like “just playing” to some, every part of our day is planned with a purpose to support each child’s growth and development. This sets us apart from programs that simply fill time with play, without connection to learning outcomes.

Our goal is to create joyful, engaging, and meaningful experiences where children learn through play—with purpose.

Health
& Fitness

We recognize children’s physical development and their health and safety are on the same level of importance in our program as all other areas of developmnet. Children develop skills neccessary for future social and academic success as they explore, combine, and refine their physical movements.

We thoughtfully plan our daily activities to give our children the opportunity to develop their large motor skills by stretching their arms and legs in the morning and afternoon time at our private outdoor playground. Infants and toddlers under 24 months old play in their own outdoor play area. Children ages 2 to 5 years old have their own age-appropriate playground and play structures.

Music and movement are incorporated into our daily schedule in the classroom. Our children, sing, dance, stomp, crawl, skip and jump to strengthen their fine and large motor skills. Our children are energized and ready for the day.

Children in our care deserve an environment that is safe and encourages healthy living. As part of our program, we model healthy living practices and teach the importance of good hygiene, a healthy diet, and the need for exercise and rest.

STEM

Learning

Our STEM activities inspire curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and nurture a lifelong love of learning through hands-on exploration and discovery. Early exposure to STEM lays a strong foundation for future success, helping children develop critical thinking abilities that serve them well throughout life. We provide opportunities for children to investigate, experiment, and learn through trial and error in a supportive environment. With engaging and fun activities, our STEM program ignites children's natural drive to question, explore, and understand the world around them.

FREE Piano
& Music Lesson

Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. ... Dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression.

According to Early Childhood Music and Movement Associations, 85% of brain development occurs by the time a child reaches 3-years-old. From an early age, babies can hear the difference between different types of sounds. Engagement to musical instruments at children’s early age enhances their natural ability to language, reading and listening skills. It also helps in sensory development, gross and fine motor skills, development of self-confidence.

We offer small group sessions for children ages 3-5. In our infant and toddler classrooms, we introduce music through engaging music and movement activities that support early development and joyful exploration.

Christian Based
Learning

We blend in Christian values in our everyday interactions with our children. We want to teach our children the basic meaning of Love, Faith, Caring, Humility, Self-Respect and Respect for others. We teach our children the importance of manners and showing respect by using simple but meaningful words like ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.

Culture
& Language

Children have a natural ability to learn multiple languages, making early childhood the ideal time to introduce culture and language lessons. These experiences help broaden their understanding and appreciation of the diverse world around them. Research shows that exposure to cultural diversity enhances cognitive skills such as flexibility and problem-solving. Additionally, learning about different cultures nurtures empathy, tolerance, and respect — laying the foundation for strong, positive social connections.

Homemade
Fresh & Healthy Meals

We have a commercial-grade kitchen and a dedicated in-house cook who prepares fresh, healthy meals daily. Every dish is made from scratch, and fresh fruit is cut and served each day. We provide Organic Whole Milk for toddlers ages 1 to 2 and Organic 2% Milk for children ages 2 to 5. Our teachers model healthy eating habits by sitting with the children during meals and engaging them in meaningful conversation.

We understand that some children have food allergies and sensitivities, and our cook carefully prepares meals to accommodate each child's dietary needs.

We are a Nut-Free facility.

The word 'Organic' is food that labelled Organic on its packaging.

We are so happy we found Angel Face. As first time parents, we were so hesitant to put our 2 year old into daycare. We were on the waitlist for quite a while, and now we know why. This place is amazing. Our daughter is having so much fun here, their communication is incredible, and we haven't had to worry about our daughter for even a second. Thank you to all the amazing ladies who take care of our little one. We are so grateful for you all.

My daughter loves attending Angelface. The teachers and staffs are excellent. My 3 year old has learned so much and continues to do so with her friends. I like that all meals and snacks are provided and this is a Christian based preschool. Also, Angelface is close to our home so it is very convenient for us. I do highly recommend Angelface to anyone interested. Thank you Angelface!

How does one just say goodbye to 4 years? I seriously still cannot believe how fast the time came and went. When my daughter joined Angel Face, the building still had dirt around it and there weren't that many babies. Watching the school grow as well as my daughter has been a blessing. Angel Face will really offer great services in terms of knowing your child is loved, taken care of, and they have a great menu. Working moms will love this school in my opinion! Any time you have a question, you will be met with love and care and a thorough answer. The only reason we went to a new school was due to age and waitlists. If angel Face had higher ages, we would not have left :) You will feel secure. They also send a lot of daily updates. Updates that I'm actually using to create a little milestone thing for my daughter. I do miss this school a lot - I don't think that'll ever change haha. Great pricing, great care, great education, and a great menu for the babies. I hope you enjoy your time at Angel Face as much as we did.
